The Aldi closest to me is so frustrating and disappointing. I wish I could find any reason to go.

I get the impression that Tim is a Committed Carnivore and he only eats the plant based vegan foods just to be nice, gentlemanly and help out with the Taste Tests. Glad to hear that Tim really liked the plant based Bulgogi Korean rice veggie balls. I just wish it was BROWN RICE and not white rice, but it is what it is. BTW, Katie mentioned she is trying to eat healthier recently and it is a good idea NOT TO MICROWAVE food in plastic because microplastic particles morph into the food and that causes cancer and other degenerative diseases - recently there was a big press release about Forever Chemicals and Microplastics in our food, bottled water, etc. I have been trying to elminate buying so much food that is wrapped in plastic ESPECIALLY if it has an acidic ingredient such as tomato, citrus, vinegar because that makes microplastic particles. Microplastics and Forever Chemicals in food are particularly harmful to children because their immune systems are more delicate and their body weight is lower so that pollution gunk in food like Microplastics and Forever Chemicals accumulates at a much higher level than compared to adults. GMO is changing to bioengineered. Look for BE in a circle or just a bar code . U have to find out yourself . Non GMO on food label will stay . Its confusing. The avocado dip at Aldi in the refrigerator section is gluten free restaurant style guacamole. It’s not hot . Includes pineapple, roasted poblano peppers. No seed oil or fillers . Great as salad dressing or I like cucumbers instead of crackers. I freeze a few . My mother 1/2 German. The Real food better not package anyway .

if you are trying to eat healthy a lot of Aldi's products have seed oils and bioengineered ingredients, so I don't blame you for not wasting money on unhealthy food. I'll still watch because I do get great tips on a lot of other foods- I love the artichoke cheese and wouldn't have bought it if you hadn't recommended it :)

If you decide to grow your own corn, don't forget to research polinating the stocks or the kernals will not form.

Katie! You need to make Mexican street corn at home. If you haven’t had it before, it is incredible! And since you are making it at home, you can decide the quantity of the necessary ingredients. Thanks for sharing that the produce is quality and reasonably priced! I always enjoy your hauls on this channel because you enjoy trying new things when you shop, like me. A store’s newer products tend to be of interest to me and are sometimes a newfound favorite.

This is a big disappointment. All the wonderful German things at ALDI this week and all we see are a few vegetables? You are slipping big time. Sorry you are sick because you don’t eat enough protein but your audience should not have to suffer. Too many other quality Aldi Influencers to waste time on this. I’m out.

I purchase the low sodium taco seasoning and don't consider it spicy. It's the same brand too.

I miss having Aldi‘s just five minutes from my house like it was in Florida. I am a soft pretzel addict. I would love to have both of those the regular and the soft sticks.

Your son may be gearing up for a growth spurt. You may want to lean how to do healthy bulk cooking before he hits 13 and turns into a gastro pod (Latin for stomach on feet). You will want to keep plenty of food on stock when the boys turn I to babies again land to be fed every two hours.

Those walking tamales seem like a great grab and go item to have while on road trips and for other outings where you may not necessarily want to spend too much money on dining out. Another thing to note about strawberries is region. As a California native who resides in SE Louisiana for 5 years now (I've split my time between the Gulf Coast and Northern California most of my adult life), take note of your region's berry season. In the Gulf Coast, our berries come into season much sooner than California because of the warmer climate. So, if you live outside of California where most grocery stores get their berries from, I highly recommend and encourage buying local berries for a better tasting fruit. A lot of my local grocery stores will specifically carry Louisiana grown strawberries, and they're so much better than the California strawberries only because they're in season. That said, I'm really interested in that acai bowl. That would be a really nice quick and easy breakfast on days where I need to work from the office instead of from home or evergreen as a nice picnic snack at the park.

For your homemade margarita can you give the ratio of tequila, limeade, and sparkling water + squeeze of lime?

We tried the scampi Friday night, served with brown rice and broccoli - everything from TJs. It was very good - we were impressed. Scampi is not hard to make but sometimes it's nice to just toss something in a pan and have dinner in 10 mins.

Wow those haul!! Will try those Tamales! Fruits are hit or miss for me most of the time. Sadly.

Had the garlic shrimp at Costco it was AWFUL!
